Songsters

The Songsters are the Army’s version of a church choir, however most of the music we sing is inspired and written or arranged by Salvationist musicians from the UK and all around the world.

The aim of the Songster Brigade is to encourage and inspire people through singing about the Good News contained in the Gospel, with a very important secondary aim of providing friendship and fellowship within the group itself.

We sing every Sunday at our morning (10.30am) and evening (4:30pm) service and rehearse every Thursday evening at 8pm.

We also sing at our open air services which usually take place at Poole Quay or Poole Park during the summer/holiday season.

At Christmas time the Songsters can occasionally be heard in the Dolphin Centre in Poole. Once again, on these occasions our main purpose is to bring a blessing to people passing by through the truth contained within words of the songs we sing.
